The artwork was redesigned, enhanced, and brought to life through motion, resulting in a clean, loopable animation system optimized for social media platforms. From Concept to Motion – Album Visual Development for Baseman
Overview
This project was developed for the UK-based music artist Baseman, focusing on transforming an initial AI-generated album cover concept into a refined and fully realized animated visual system for social media.
The process involved taking an early-stage visual reference and elevating it through design refinement, creative direction, and motion design, resulting in a polished and production-ready outcome aligned with the artist’s identity.
Project Goal
The objective was to convert a raw concept into a high-quality animated album cover, while also creating a cohesive set of visuals optimized for social media platforms.
The project aimed to:
• enhance and refine the original visual concept
• establish a stronger artistic and visual identity
• create engaging animated content for promotion
• ensure consistency across multiple digital platforms
My Role
I handled the full creative and production pipeline, including both design development and motion execution:
• Analyzing and deconstructing the initial AI-generated reference
• Redesigning and enhancing the album artwork
• Defining the visual direction and motion style
• Creating the full animation
• Adapting the visuals into multiple social media formats
• Final video editing and delivery
Creative Development
Starting from an AI-generated base, the artwork was refined and reworked to achieve a more cohesive and professional visual standard.
This phase included:
• improving composition and visual balance
• enhancing details and clarity
• aligning the design with the artist’s musical tone
• preparing the artwork for animation
Motion & Visual Direction
The animation was designed to translate the mood and energy of Baseman’s music into a compelling visual experience.

• strong visual hierarchy
• modern, platform-friendly aesthetics
Social Media Adaptations
To support the release campaign, the project included multiple optimized formats:
• Square (Instagram feed)

Each version was carefully adapted to maintain visual consistency while maximizing performance across platforms.
Final Result
The final result is a fully developed animated album cover and social media motion package, transforming an early concept into a high-quality visual asset that enhances Baseman’s release and strengthens his digital presence.
